What is your organization’s role in the project? What unique contribution does it bring to the team?
Hispasat will bring its experience as a satellite operator to define 5G-STARDUST use cases, scenarios and services, as the lead in this work package. In addition, it will assist in the description and validation of the architecture and technology developed, as well as contribute to the standardisation of NTN solutions and integration of 5G on satellite networks.
Why is this project important for your organization?
Active participation in 5G NTN projects such as 5G-STADUST keeps Hispasat at the forefront of technological advancements in the telecommunications industry. By collaborating with other industry players such as terrestrial network operators, equipment manufacturers and technology providers, Hispasat can gain insight into the latest developments, standards and innovations in the 5G space. This knowledge can be used to improve our own satellite systems, improve efficiency and advance future satellite communication technologies.
