SUMMARY:EuCNC and 6GSummit
DESCRIPTION:The 2024 EuCNC & 6G Summit builds on putting together two successful conferences in the area of telecommunications: EuCNC\, in its 33rd edition of a series\, supported by the European Commission; the 6G Summit\, in its 6th edition\, originated from the 6G Flagship programme in Finland\, one of the very first in its area. \nThe conference is sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc)\, the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP) and supported by the European Commission. \nThe conference addresses various aspects of Beyond 5G/6G communications systems and networks.  It brings together cutting-edge research and world-renown industries and businesses\, globally attracting in the last years more than 700 delegates from more than 40 countries all over the world\, to present and discuss the latest results\, and an exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors\, for demonstrating the technology developed in the area\, namely within research projects from EU R&I programmes. \nThe conference program will include: \n\nKeynotes\nPanels\nRegular oral sessions (papers from open call\, to be submitted for uploading to IEEE Xplore)\nSpecial and Convened sessions\, with papers on specific topics\nWorkshops\, with papers and presentations on specific topics\nPoster sessions (extended abstracts from open call addressing latest results)\nTutorials\nDemos and exhibitions\, with pitches\n\n  \n5G-STARDUST will be a part of the in-event workshop 12 “Non-Terrestrial Networks and Terrestrial Networks unification – from Vision to Reality”\, taking place on Monday\, 3 June 2024\, from 2 to 5:30 pm\, which will revolve around the fact that through various funding channels (ESA and national) space assets suitable for 5G/6G experimentation\, advanced 5G PoC validation and demonstrations are gradually becoming available and should be exploited by market stakeholders and R&D NTN/TN community to consolidate solutions\, demonstrate cases and build confidence. Another major motivation is that one can witness a number of announcements about providing direct to device connectivity from space from major players. \nThe workshop is expected to serve a range of objectives\, not necessarily of the same degree: \n\nFacilitate interaction and discussions between the parallel running SNS JU projects with a focus on NTN\nFacilitate interaction and discussions between NTN focused R&D activities in Europe receiving support through different funding channels (EC\, ESA\, national and Eureka)\nCreate an awareness about 6G experimentation and demonstration opportunities that space assets scheduled to be launched in the near future offer\nSupport PoC validations in situ (in-orbit) and standardisation\n\n  \nIn addition\, Alessandro Guidotti (of 5G-STARDUST partner CNIT) will be speaking about the role of NTN in 6G as one of the invited panelists of Special Session 3\, “Bringing 6G from vision to reality in Europe – the key role of regulation in research”\, which will take place on Tuesday\, 4 June\, from 11am to 1pm. \n  \nFor any additional details\, please refer to the following pages: https://www.eucnc.eu/programme/workshops/workshop-12/\nhttps://www.eucnc.eu/programme/special-sessions/special-session-3/\n \nFor general information on EuCNC and 6GSummit: https://www.eucnc.eu/

SUMMARY:PSCE Conference 2024
DESCRIPTION:The PSCE conference\, hosted by the Austrian Ministry of Defence in Vienna\, will revolve around the topics of Satellite-Non terrestrial Communication and AI in terms of Information overload: how to make best usage of massive data? And how AI could support the flow of massive data. \n5G-STARDUST will showcase a poster at the event\, which will also feature a presentation by partner Thales Alenia Space. \nFor more information: https://www.psc-europe.eu/psce-conferences/psce-conference-in-vienna/
